You can apply the fabrics or lace to buttercream cakes with no glue, it will stick to the icing itself. If applied to fondant you can use royal icing, icing, or water.

You can store them in a zip lock bag and place them in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Or in the freezer for 4 months.
